On this episode our fearless heroes tackle the topic of FEAR. They begin by trading their views on the existence of ghosts and then follow it up with an explanation of the true reasons why humans enjoy being scared. They cover horror movies, movies that scared them as children, and then they deftly transition into discussing Rob’s deep seeded fear of being chased by angry, living gnomes. After an exhausting foray into all things that strike fear into the heart of humans, the guys wrap it up by covering the most real and persistent fear of all: mankind and the twisted real people who wander this earth. Show Notes: The family from Kansas that killed people in the 1800's. They were known as the Bloody Benders and - as of resarching this - I found out that Guillermo Del Toro will be making a movie about them. The How Stuff Works podcast Stuff You Missed in History also did an excellent podcast about them. It's a horrific story and one sure to chill your blood.

The truck driver serial killer. OK just LOOK at this guy! I mean, would YOU ever ride with him? Once you see this picture and read this story, you will likely find yourself double checking the page source of the article to make sure you're not reading fiction. It's another horrific tale, but one that began unraveling in May 2012. That's right.

Hitchhiker Killer

I love scary movies of (almost) all kinds. There is a ton more that I would like to discuss regarding fear and movies. If I think of something specific, I will leave a comment. If you have anything you would like to share with us, feel free to leave a comment or email us.
